You can become a connoisseur in just 4 visits, an expert in just 8 and a bon vivant any time you want. With authentic German folk music by the Hofbrahaus Bavarians, playing in the morning, we now begin formally with this tapping and the singing of Ein Prosit. Inside it’s a taproom with a beautiful bar with seating for 100 and a ceiling fan that will leave you breathless, literally.
When we first opened Moon Hill Brewing Co. at the site of the Gardner Ale House it was our aim to do things differently. Don’t just be a restaurant; don’t just be a brewery; be another kind of place. The kind that’s just interesting to enter, interesting to look around. Everybody else closes on Mondays because business is slow.

Offsite options are available from several vendors who have lots and garages in downtown Miami. Rates with these operators range from $6.50 per day to $11 per day. Terminal D was opened in 2007 and upgraded in 2013 to accommodate the new generation of larger Carnival cruise ships.
Getting to Miami Cruise Port
Make sure you carry a credit card with airport lounge access as a benefit. The Chase Sapphire Reserve® gives you access to Priority Pass lounges, while The Platinum Card® from American Express will open the door to the Amex Centurion Lounge at MIA. The new Terminal B has a dedicated waiting hall, separate bar lounge, service area, new parking garage, valet parking area (accessing the building directly). The expected numbers for fiscal 2018 were ~US$180,000 (parking) and US$210,000 (marketing).
Miami Seaquarium is another fun outing in Miami that is centered around animals, only here you’ll see ocean mammals. The Seaquarium features a variety of species, including bottlenose dolphins, crocodiles, and sea lions. Children will love the fact that there’s an onsite play structure (the Salty’s Pirate Playground) and a touch pool where they can feel the silky skin of stingrays. Visitors of all ages will be wowed by the Sea Trek Reef Encounter, an underwater walking path through the aquarium. Due to its wet, humid climate, gardens in Miami are able to prosper into lush, beautiful landscapes. In our opinion, it’s a safer bet to park at the port or with a hotel that offers parking. How long does it take to get to the airport from the Port of Miami? We mentioned it above, but it takes about minutes in normal traffic to get to the Miami airport from the cruise port. Expect 45 minutes to one hour if you are headed to Fort Lauderdale. While navigating around the port can be a little confusing given the twists and turns and the number of terminals, picking up and dropping off is simple. You’ll see signs at the terminal directing you to the spot where you can let out passengers (and pick them up afterward).

We’ve got you covered with all your parking options, including costs and discounts. As you can see, while it is cheap (less than $3 if flying into Miami) the public transportation takes some time and at least one transfer to get to the port. For that reason, we recommend other methods for those unfamiliar with the area. Depending on where you’re coming from, expect the cost to run about $15-25 per person, each way. Obviously it is cheaper to go from the Miami airport compared to Fort Lauderdale because of the distance. Carnival, for example, offers a shuttle from the Miami airport to your cruise for $23 one-way/$46 round trip per person.
Upon landing, you can get local information at the airport, where you’ll also find a bank, post office, pharmacy, baggage storage, ATM, and car rental companies. For private transportation, taxis and rideshares are popular ways to get around Miami. Make sure you’re hailing a licensed taxi, which should have written that it’s a taxi cab on the side of the car and display the license for the driver and the taxi’s rate card inside the vehicle.
